Latest bit of work on the work bench.Made from XPS craft foam and using a bit of artistic licence this temple is loosely based on the Temple of Chennakeshava at Nallur near Bangalore in India. Built in the C14th this ancient ruined temple sits in the middle of a Tamarind grove and is now a protected bio diversity world heritage site.
Perfect for a bit of background scenery for wargaming in India at more or less any period. I have created the temple from roughly cut XPS craft foam and sanded/filed the carved shapes into the exterior. I also found a local market shop selling India trinkets/charms for £10 a box and have used them to create the figures on the outside walls.
